Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt at Highclere Castle

Sunday 16th April, 2017.

As in many past years, the trail will be in aid of Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices which provide expert hospice care to more than 340 life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their extended families from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey and the Isle of Wight.

The children will enjoy following a trail through Highclere’s gardens and woodland finding clues as they go and at the end each child will win an Easter Egg!  We will also welcome all children to take part in our Easter Bonnet parade and enjoy a bouncy castle and other games on the lawns.

We would ask you kindly to pre-book adult tickets this year and tell us how many children you are bringing so that we can stock up on Easter Eggs! The adult garden ticket is £7 per person (as per standard prices 2017) which gives access to the Easter Egg Hunt, Gardens and Grounds, Tea Rooms and Gift Shop. We would ask each child give a donation to Naomi House on the day

(suggested donation £5) when they collect their map and treasure hunt on arrival. Entry to the Easter Bonnet parade is free with prizes awarded for lots of wonderful bonnets.

The Easter Egg trail will run from 11am until 3pm.
The Easter Bonnet Parade will take place at 2.30pm.

If you wish to visit the Castle or Egyptian Exhibition, you are welcome to upgrade on the day, subject to availability. Afternoon Tea is not available with this event ticket. However, our normal Tea Rooms will be open from 9:30am until 5pm serving light lunches and snacks. Hot dinners are also served between 12noon and 2pm.

We look forward to welcoming you all.
