Tickets for Public Opening at Easter & Spring 2020 are now available to purchase.
The Castle, Egyptian Exhibition and Gardens are open at Easter as follows:

Both Morning admission and Afternoon admission tickets are available. Morning tickets allow entry to the Castle and Exhibition between 10:30am and 1pm. Afternoon tickets allow entry to the Castle and Exhibition between 1pm and 4pm. Last entry time is 4pm.The Castle closes at 5pm and the Estate closes at 6pm. Once you are in the Castle you are not timed so you may enter anytime between the allotted slots above.
The Estate opens at 9:30am. Visitors are welcome to visit the Gardens and Grounds all day. The Castle Tearooms are open from 9:30am. The Gift Shop will be open from 9:30am until 5pm.

Please note that your tickets will not be posted to you. They are sent by email at the end of a successful purchase. A copy of your tickets will also be left in your account in this website for you to print whenever you choose before you arrive here.
Note that there will be events taking place on Sunday 24th May 2020 and Monday 25th May 2020. Please be aware that this may result in an increase in traffic on these dates which could slow access to and from the Estate. There may also be marquees set up within the grounds, music and additional noise.
Please remember, if you would to purchase tickets for our "Afternoon Tea at the Coach House", you can no longer buy these tickets after buying a general admission ticket here. Instead, you are now able to purchase our new combined ticket: "Castle Tour, Exhibition, Gardens & Afternoon Tea". Click HERE for more information and to buy these combined tickets.

Please print your tickets and bring them along with you on the day of your visit.
Due to the popularity of the Castle, tickets purchased for a given date and entrance time cannot be exchanged, refunded or re-dated.
In order to avoid fraudulent tickets, please bring the credit/debit card used to pay for your admission tickets to present when you visit the Castle. If this is a problem, please ring the office on 01635 253210. Thank you for your help and cooperation.
