The Earl and Countess of Carnarvon  are delighted to welcome guests into their home, Highclere Castle, on the evening of Wednesday 6th December for an exclusive shopping experience and opportunity to see the Castle at this festive time of year.

Join us to enjoy a complimentary glass of Highclere Champagne along with traditional festive mince pies, whilst browsing a variety of charming stalls of local produce and traditional gifts for all ages and purses! Wend your way through the State Rooms of the Castle; take in the splendor of the magnificent Christmas tree located in the Saloon at the heart of the Castle as well as the Courtyard with further stalls. Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the Castle Bedrooms.

This relaxed and festive environment provides the perfect luxury setting to find the ideal Christmas gift and enjoy a winter evening in a spectacular Victorian Castle.


Tickets for this Christmas Fair Evening, priced at £35 per person, must be pre-booked using the date selector below.

For this special festive event, we are unable to offer any discounted rates or free admission for HHA members. However, as per our normal policy, a necessary carer of a registered disabled visitor will receive free admission.

Total cost

Due to the popularity of the Castle, tickets purchased for a given date and entrance time cannot be exchanged, refunded or re-dated.

In order to avoid fraudulent tickets, please bring the credit/debit card used to pay for your admission tickets to present when you visit the Castle. If this is a problem, please ring the office on 01635 253210. Thank you for your help and cooperation.
