Finse was born at Highclere Castle where the world-famous TV series Dogton Abbey was filmed. She has always wanted to be an explorer and, after an idyllic puppyhood at the Castle, she now spends much of her time travelling the world. She loves sharing stories of her adventures and has written a series of books with her owner describing all the exciting places she has visited. In this book Finse travels to the USA  and Canada, following the pawprints of the Vikings and her hero Leif Eriksson who came to the American continent 500 years before Christopher Columbus.
