Champagne Afternoon Tea with Literary Festival Access, Castle Tour & Egyptian Exhibition

We are delighted to offer tickets for event entry and access to the Castle and Egyptian Exhibition during our Literary Festival Weekend, combined with a Champagne Afternoon Tea served in the upstairs of our Coach House Tearoom. Our delicious Afternoon Tea includes a selection of delicious finger sandwiches, cakes and scones served with a glass of Joseph Perrier 'Highclere Castle' Champagne. 

You are welcome to arrive to take part in the Event from 9.00am when the Grounds open.

Access to the Castle and Egyptian Exhibition is at any time between 1.30pm and 4.30pm.

The Gardens are yours to enjoy at leisure.

The Gift Shop and further Tearooms are open throughout the day.

The Gardens and Grounds close at 5.30pm.

Seating is limited for this exclusive experience so early booking is advised.  These tickets are limited to over 18s only. Please note that the seating for Champagne Afternoon Tea is upstairs. Please do let us know if you will require to be seated downstairs, so we can accommodate your table in another suitable location.

There are three sittings for Afternoon Tea each day: 12.00pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm. The seating quantity available for each time will be displayed when you click the "number of tickets required" option. Please note that the maximum booking size is 6 guests.

Tickets include access to the Event and a self-guided tour of the Castle and Egyptian Exhibition, as well as Champagne Afternoon Tea served in the Coach House.  There is no need to purchase additional tickets for the Event, Castle or Egyptian Exhibition for the same date and time.

Please note that we do not offer a Vegan Menu, nor can we guarantee that our products are either DAIRY FREE or NUT FREE. We cannot individually tailor the menus, so please make sure you are happy with your chosen menu.

Your tickets are sent by email at the end of the purchase.  Please do check your “junk folder” if these do not come through to you.  A copy of your tickets will also be left in your account on this website for you to view/print whenever you choose before you arrive.

Please familiarise yourself with our Terms and Conditions and FAQ prior to purchase.  As you checkout, there will be reminders given that tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable.  Please note that neither dogs (guide dogs excepted) nor picnics are allowed within the Grounds.
