A Summer Garden Party
at Highclere Castle
on Saturday 15^th June 2024

The ton are abuzz with the latest excitement. It is my honour to welcome Patrons & Friends of Highclere Castle to enjoy a guided tour of my beautiful home on Saturday 15th June 2024. The incomparable Castle will be basking in sunshine (God willing) on this delightful occasion, perfect for a perambulation across the Lawns and Gardens.

Our Guides will then accompany you through the State Rooms, most familar from the scenes in Downton Abbey, as well as other films that you might have appreciated on screen and through to the upstairs Gallery and Bedrooms.

It will be such a lively gathering and the pinnacle of the social season. A traditional brass band will play a selection of music, whilst you soak up the atmosphere and channel your inner Lord or Lady Grantham.

In order to offer such privileged access, we will suggest either a Morning or Afternoon Invitation to tour.

The tours will begin at 10:30am for morning guests and 2:30pm for afternoon  guests. This is followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea, set out on traditional tables.

May the day be filled with joyful memories and the most delightful celebrations.

Tickets for this Summer Garden Party are available to Patrons and Friends of Highclere Castle to purchase at £130 per person. Each Patron or Friend membership allows you to book a maximum of 2 tickets to this event.

Your tour will commence promptly at the time stated on your tickets.  Please make your way to the Front Door of the Castle as follows:

Morning Guided Tours begin at 10:30am   (please gather by the Castle Front Door at 10:20am).

Afternoon Guided Tours begin at 2:30pm  (please gather by the Castle Front Door at 2:20pm).

If you choose the afternoon tour, please do arrive an hour early to walk around the Gardens.  If you choose the morning tour, please do take the time to enjoy the Gardens after your tour.

The Gates and Grounds open from 9.30am for the morning visitors and close at 5pm for the afternoon visitors.

Dress code for the event is smart/casual, please wear sensible footwear for the Gardens.

Please note, we do not offer a vegan menu, nor can we guarantee that our products are either DAIRY Free or NUT FREE. We are able to offer a Vegetarian or Gluten-Free option for these tours. Please email theoffice@highclerecastle.co.uk in advance of your visit to reserve.
