Please join us for a glamorous summer evening of Gin & Jazz. 

The Earl and Countess of Carnarvon are delighted to welcome you to Highclere Castle for an evening of elegance and fun at the home of the real Downton Abbey.

Your evening will begin with a warm welcome from Lady Carnarvon along with a glass of Highclere Castle Champagne or a cocktail, followed by the opportunity to explore the Castle’s State Rooms at your leisure.

This will include an opportunity to explore our celebrated Egyptian Exhibition.

As the sun softens over the Gardens, you’ll be invited into our Summer Garden Marquee where the sound of jazz sets the scene.

Enjoy a complimentary cocktail on arrival or more champagne as the jazz band entertains you. A delicious selection of enticing summer delicacies will capture the season’s flavours served throughout the evening.

We offer a choice of three menus: Standard Menu, Vegetarian and Gluten-Free. Please note that we do not offer a Vegan Menu, nor can we guarantee that our products are either DAIRY FREE or NUT FREE. We cannot individually tailor the menus, so please ensure you are happy with your chosen menu.

Our Highclere Gin cocktail bar will be open offering a range of drinks and cocktails available for purchase, providing the perfect accompaniment to the live jazz and relaxed, elegant setting. We very much hope you will join us for this wonderfully atmospheric evening.

Admission to this event is for over 18s only.

All visitors are welcome to arrive from 5:30pm if you would like to visit the Gift Shop before the Castle opens.

Entry to the Castle will be at 6:00pm.
