‘What is a weekend?’ must be the most iconic quote from our beloved Dowager Countess of Grantham, the matriarch of Downton Abbey, played by the formidable Maggie Smith. 

This year we invite you to ask, what is a weekend at Highclere Castle? 

Whether you love an informal jazz evening on Friday 26^th June, a more formal dance on Saturday 27^th June or a wonderful walk in the Park on Sunday 28^th June, we look forward to seeing you. 

This is the first time we have suggested that you join us for a Highclere Castle Summer Dance, full of glitz, glam, Champagne and Scottish reeling, my favourite!
