The tomb of Tutankhamun’s treasury was dominated by a magnificent statue of the jackal God, Anubis, sitting on a shrine. Anubis was the god of embalming and, therefore, guarded the Canopic Shrine.

Size: 11cm x 9cm (4.5” x 3.5”) approx.
The cat goddess Bastet was the wife of Anubis and the sister of Horus. She was regarded as a protector of women and childbirth.
