Christmas at Highclere: Castle Tours and Shopping for Gifts

Tuesday 5^th, Wednesday 6^th & Thursday 7^th December 2023

Step into the festive spirit! Tour the Castle State Rooms and Gallery Bedrooms, admire our Christmas decorations and discover our shopping marquee on the Castle Lawns, with a selection of handpicked stall holders. There will also be a chance to explore the Gardens (Great British weather permitting).

Your ticket includes:

• Entry to the Castle and Egyptian Exhibition, plus time to admire the Christmas decorations: from the spectacular 24-foot-high Christmas tree in the Saloon to the gorgeous garlands winding down the staircases and more.
• The opportunity to complete your Christmas shopping with the choice of our popular Gift Shop or a selection of stalls offering a variety of products from decorations to gifts and festive food. 
• A signed copy of Lady Carnarvon’s book “Christmas at Highclere”.

Doors will open for ticketholders at 9:30am, with last admission into the Castle at 2:30pm. The Grounds will close at 4:00pm.

Tickets are split into three admission times:

Morning ticketholders can enter the Castle at any time between 9.30am and 11:30am
Midday ticketholders can enter the Castle at any time between 11:30am and 1:00pm
Afternoon ticketholders can enter the Castle at any time between 1:00pm and 2:30pm

The Tea Rooms, Gift Shop and Christmas stalls will be open and accessible for ticketholders all day, as will the Gardens, weather permitting.

You will also be able to purchase warming coffees and croissants in the morning and a traditional selection of foods for lunch from our Tea Rooms, including delicious homemade soup made in the Castle kitchens, sandwiches, scones and cakes.

•   Disabled:  £65
•   Carer:  £35
•   Children:  £15 (ages 4-16 years - a book is not included)
•   Under 4s: Free, no ticket required

For these three days of special festive opening, we are unable to offer any discounted rates or free admission for HHA members. Tickets for this event must be pre-booked using the date selector below and are not available by telephone.
